Developed for small to medium sized installations

The ZC9-EXT extinguishing control panel offers outstanding value and performance for all small to medium sized fixed firefighting installations. Three detection zones as standard enable extinguishing release to be configured from any single or pair of detection zone inputs allowing, amongst other combinations, two zone coincidence activation for applications where room, floor and ceiling void all require protection. The system can also be released manually from a discharge point prominently located on the front of the panel.

Variable discharge delay

A variable discharge delay period of between zero and 60 seconds can be preprogrammed, to allow evacuation from occupied areas, with a hold off facility enabling the discharge to be held back at any time during the delay period.

Extensive configuration options allow system operation to be extensively modified while still complying with the controlling standard for the equipment (EN12094).

Manual or auto/manual modes

The ZC9-EXT can be operated in either manual or auto/manual mode. When set to the manual mode extinguishant discharge can only be operated manually. In the auto/manual mode, extinguishant release is activated either automatically, by an alarm condition present on the required number of smoke detectors circuits simultaneously (coincidence), or by manual operation. The panel features a large LED display to enable easy system configuration and control.

Up to seven remote status units

For added user safety, the display also indicates time remaining to discharge during the extinguishant delay period a feature, which can be, duplicated on up to seven remote system status units. All electronics are contained within a robust enclosure designed for surface mounting.
